Excellent Thanksgiving briefings, Matt! I was largely successful in avoiding crazy conversations along these lines, but I did get sucked into a conversation with those more liberal than I about… government? Obama? Honestly, I have no idea what we were discussing. It was painful. But I think they deemed me cynical.
Thanks!
I didn’t have it too bad, either. My sister and I each have two small children, and I think that has mellowed out the crowd a bit in the past few years, especially at the actual Thanksgiving table. I only had one crazy interaction. But it was about the strong possibility of elections being canceled next year. Yikes!
